That’s why we are so fussy about the fit. A shoe has to have a snug fit perfectly around your foot. There is no control in flexible shoes, as it is in a perfect fit! If the fit is right, you can add more stiffness to a shoe, and that will make everything more efficient: gliding, push-off, and pressure in the corners.
